Students at Bayside Christian College in Langwarrin Southwill benefit from a new arts facility thanksto a Federal Government grant.
Memberfor Dunkley Chris Crewther today announced the AustralianGovernment would provide $840,000 towards the project at Bayside Christian College through the CapitalGrants Program.
“Students andteachers thrive when their schools have modern and up-to-date facilities –that’s why the Federal Government is proud of the Capital Grants Program, whichhas benefited thousands of schools across the nation,” Mr Crewther said.
“The Government hascommitted $660 million until 2021, which provides funding for
non-government schools to improve capital infrastructure.
“These upgradeswill help advance Bayside Christian Collegeand ensure our classrooms have modern facilities.
“I congratulate Bayside Christian College for their successfulgrant and look forward to seeing the impact these improvements will have in ourcommunity.”
