Today, Chris Crewther MP, Federal Member for Dunkley met with Christopher Prior, Principal at Bayside Christian College, to announce funding of $350,000 for the development of the school’s roadways and car parking at its new Secondary School site on Robinsons Road, Langwarrin South.
“This funding will enable Bayside Christian College to continue delivering important education services and resources to its secondary students at a site which incorporates their new Trade Training Centre”.
Mr Crewther stressed the importance of improving local school infrastructure.
“This will ensure that Dunkley communities continue to grow, particularly within the electorate with the highest economic growth in Victoria”.
Since the 1960s, the Government has played a role in provision of funding for capital works in non-government schools under its Capital Grants Programme.
The Turnbull Government continues to recognise the importance of providing and improving school capital infrastructure.
