The final countdown for basketball in Dunkley

The ongoing dispute between Frankston District Basketball Association (FDBA) and Frankston City Council (Council), over lease terms for the Frankston Basketball Stadium site in Seaford, has put $5.2 million in Federal Government funding for basketball and co-utilised facilities in jeopardy.

Safer communities fund now open for applications

Minister for Justice Michael Keenan and Federal Member for Dunkley, Mr Chris Crewther, today announced that grant applications for round two of the Coalition Government’s Safer Communities Fund programme opened last Friday, 29 September 2017.
