Member for Dunkley Chris Crewther today announced the Australian Government would provide $840,000 towards the project at Bayside Christian College through the Capital Grants Program.
The Lloyd Park re-development in Langwarrin is a step closer following a $6 million commitment from local Liberal MPs Chris Crewther and Neale Burgess. The project will see Lloyd Park re-developed for the benefit of local community groups including the Langwarrin football, netball, cricket and tennis clubs as well as the Langwarrin Scouts.
The Langwarrin Football and Netball Club’s brand new portable women’s change room is now open, encouraging more women to enjoy local sport in the area.
Residents of Dunkley will help divert up to 120,000 tonnes of waste – some 12,000 truckloads – from landfill each year, thanks to a $38 million commitment by the Coalition Government, through the Clean Energy Finance Corporation.
