The Australian Government has announced significant funds for major infrastructure investment and job creation for residents of Dunkley in the 2018-19 Federal Budget.
The Turnbull Government will invest $225 million towards the electrification and duplication of the rail line from Frankston to Baxter to ensure commuters on the Mornington Peninsula can get home to their families sooner and have access to more opportunities.
The Turnbull Government is providing funding for Peninsula North Men’s Shed to provide specialised equipment identified by members to meet the needs of Shed operations.
The $4 million Federally funded Dunkley Rail Plan has been initiated with the State and Federal Governments now coming to an agreement to proceed with the business case.
